New radio lock time issue

With the new "Official" rom and radio (3.42.02) after a soft reset it takes between 5-15 minutes to aquire a signal. Im also noticing latency in the task manager when i click the the task manager button in the top right corner of about 5 seconds and and about 5-10 second hang time when closing apps in the list.

sounds like you got a problem during your flashing.
try relashing to the original "official" release. then try flashing to whatever rom you like.

Already done....I flashed first with the rom from HTC site, then flashed with the new Official ship rom nothing cooked. I thought at firt it might have been something I installed so I did the re-flash but nothing changed still slow

that rom isnt really official so dont expect it to work without bugs. for the radio part of it though if you have a name on xda you could go download 3.42.30 for titan and flash that radio (new radio from the vogue that was ported over to work on the titan). supposedly it works great, but i havent tried it yet since 3.39 does me well i have no reason to mess w/ it. if you dont have xda pm me or something maybe ill bring that file over to here (if it isnt already)

Yea that was happening to my wifes mogul as well. Someone in another thread suggested to run iota and it worked for her phone.

Its in start/settings/phone/services/internet

actually http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=326669 is the link for the ported vogue radio if youre thinking your radio isnt working right. its basically a slightly higher rev number but i guess it works better for some people

Does anyone think that my issue could be coming from me soft resetting the phone before the customization on first boot? I see that the sprint navigator or whatever its called isnt installed

Re: New radio lock time issue

I think I killed my phone with the radio update

I tried the SD way but it just sat at the bootloader screen saying serial

So I tried the exe way but the bootloader was SPL 2.4 which I guess is to new or something so I followed instructions to downgrade to SPL 1.2, once I did that it allowed me to run the radio updater exe

once that was finished the phone wouldnt leave the bootloader so I used titan_exitbl.exe

that allowed the phone to reboot and start loading winmo 6.1

it brought me to the screen calibration so I started that but on one of the taps the phone rebooted and thats what it keeps doing.....every few tries it will allow me to get to the screen after the calibration but never past that it just reboots.....please help lol
