BuildOS Updates but won't run

I'm trying to use BuildOS to make a ROM using the new kitchen 19588. I downloaded the MSI file, installed it, and updated it using the instructions found at http://ppckitchen.org/joomla/index.p...d=58&Itemid=61 . When I try to run the program itself, I get a popup with the message

Quote:

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click OK to terminate
I'm running Windows XP Pro SP3. Any ideas?

What about User Login and Password????? I was just gonna build a new ROM and when I started Build OS it asked to update.......

Now I can't log into it to build a new ROM. I keep getting Invalid Username and password.

I did read somewhere that my ppcgeeks info would work so that is what I have been using up until now and it is a no go.

I had the same problem. I had .NET 3.5 installed on my computer. I had to downgrade to .NET 2.0. Problem solved.

It is not a "downgrade" persay. .net is not backwards compatible. If something needs .net 2 you have to have 2. If something needs .net 3.5 you need 3.5

Thats weird, because on Microsoft's website to download .netcf 3.5, it says it is compatible with .netcf 2.0 as well. Oh Well

Installing .NET 2.0 solved the problem. Thanks!
