Auto Time Zone Change
 

Can anyone confirm this? I just landed in Las Vegas (from Minneapolis) and MY phone automatically changed to the correct time zone. Is that a product in the new ROM (3.56)?

I can confirm this. I live in Puerto Rico and we have a choice of using Caracas, Lapaz time zone or Atlantic Time Zone with Daylights savings turned off. I have always used Caracas, La Paz as to not need to change the daylight savings setting.

After the Sprint update It automatically changes to Atlantic time zone. It appears that the Daylight savings information is also pushed from the network, since the mogule displays the right time.

My brother flew into Houston, TX yesterday and he did not have to change time zones. He is using a Touch, with the new Touch official version as well.

I am guessing that both phones share this code in their updates.

I can also confirm that my Titan changed time zones correctly after a trip this past weekend.

EDIT: I have verizon though.

Flew from houstonto Savannah yesterday and I was all screwed up because I dont normally change it . I just calculate and go, But it had changed.

I can also confirm thereis actually a new setting which allows you to sync time to time zone in the same area on titan as where you would change the roaming status under the settings of the phone...

I can confirm this as well. I believe Sprint has been slowly adding this to many if not all of their WM-based smartphones. One of the last updates that was released for the Motorola Q (the phone I had before my Mogul and that my wife now uses) added the same auto-sync time and timezone feature to that phone. I must admit, it comes it handy when traveling.
