yes it is... and i am switching to a touch this week.
However rev a is not faster for downloads, it is only faster for uploads.... so who cares their.

GPS, Been there done that, I take public transit, So I say I like the new GPMS unit called the nagator that i heard about on the Bob and Tom show. It has somesort of gpms chip and they say it is portable and uses the voice of your wife to tell you were to go.... and something about being unstable once a month for a few days....

I'd call an average of 1+ mbps with peaks in the mid to upper 2's faster download speeds. Of course it depends on where you do most of your tethering though. Not every single area will show a huge difference in download speeds.

I had problems with SPB Backup 2.0 as well and unchecked the stop running programs box and it works fine now.

Re: Official Sprint Release - Thx to DCD

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I just ran into this issue myself.

Sprint has forced Internet Sharing to use the Phone as Modem profile for dialing out. There is not an option to change it like there used to be:

I poked around a little bit, and it looks like they added this reg key in HKLM/Comm/InternetSharing/Settings --> ForceCellConnection [String value = "Phone as Modem"]

Just change it to "Sprint PCS" and you'll be good to go. Plus you won't have to worry about selecting Phone as Modem at all in the future. Thanks Sprint! That is actually pretty handy!

Edit: LuLuTheMonk made a cab for the reg entry here.
