Re: Official Sprint Release - Thx to DCD

Why does Activesync ALWAYS make a duplicate user after a ROM update. It always screws everything up!

Don't know about scrolling, but both internet sharing and the exchange server issues have cleaned. Exchange server will need a new certificate on your phone. Internet Sharing:

Navigate to registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing" and delete the string value named "Extension".
Soft reset so the changes can take place

I hear ya. I always tend to lose numbers after a reset. I now make sure to write down the important women... uhhh... I mean numbers I need.

Re: Official Sprint Release - Thx to DCD

I have the other user from other board (XDA) claimed that internet sharing is working but mine is not working when I am using USB connection. When I click connect, it pops up error 67, does anyone have any clue how to get it works?

i do actually it's a registry fix give me one second and i will find it for you

EDIT: and here you go be sure to hit that thanks button

Those of you running Sprint ROMs should navigate to the following registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing" and delete the string value named "Extension". This will allow you to connect to the Internet via the "Internet Sharing" app without the dreaded error 67/authentication errors.

be sure to do a soft reset so the changes can take place and BOOM there u go working internet sharing

Re: Official Sprint Release - Thx to DCD

drurc8, I believe that in order for Internet Sharing to work using the phone line, you will have to go into the registry and delete a file. I can't remember which one right off hand, but I am sure if you do a search for internet sharing regedit or something to that effect, you should find your answer.

EDIT:Young Breedent beat me to it

They seemed to resolve themselves after a few soft resets. The main problem im having is when i restored my backup, my text messages FREAKED out. It started sending over 1000 txt messages easily all over again as far back as last december. just resending everything i ever sent, even the deleted threads. i had to disable my radio to get it to stop. whenever i reset, it would keep doing the same thing over. it would be blank when you entered your sms folder ,then start updating all the txt threads. it was freaky. anyway, i fixed by letting them all update back to today (took like 10 minutes) and then deleted them all. seems to have fixed the problem...time to re-enable radio **croses fingers**
