Upgrading issues on PPC6800
 

Is it even possible to upgrade the USCC version of the PPC6800? I have been trying all day to upgrade it to the 3.35 ROM as described above in the sticky section.

I unlocked it and went to install the Sprint 3.35 rom version following the stops in the guide but every single time I do it, it stops at 11% and I have to go through the recovery process.

I also noticed that there is now no radio version in my device info screen. I just have the ROM version, ROM date, Hardware version and Browser version with something in it.

everything seems to work fine, calls, texting, internet though. I would like to upgrade the ROM but if not, I would rather just go back to the original factory settings. If I do that, how would I do that? does the relocker work for USCC phones or is that Sprint specific?

Follow that guide. I did and now I have a USCC with GPS.

It gets kind of bland in the middle when the Hard Spl gives instructions to dissconnect the phone and reconnect it though.

Just follow everything as stated and you will be on your way.

And there is no going back on USCC. Since it doesn't seem like a current ROM has been leaked yet or an official upgrade is released which it probably won't happen either.

thanks. I saw that earlier. I might have to give it a shot in the next couple days since I'm tired and I have to work tomorrow.
