put it in bootloader mode and plug it in to the comp. it should install the drivers to the comp. you should get a pop up saying installing device drivers then after it is complete you will get the icon to safely remove hardware.

got it now...had a bad friggin cable...never seen that before.

thanks for posting your "fix" we were getting worried bout ya. yes there are differences between cables , I have a few myself that now have a big knot in them and that mean's they are for charging only....

i have had the same issue on two different occurences one was my fault the other i have no clue what happened. glad you got it figured out.
