Extreme Newbie needs help
 

I downloaded the RUU_TITAN_ALLTEL_WWE_3.35.671.9_RS_TITAN_03.37.20_ Alltel_2.01_AM_PPST_Ship.exe upgrade and installed it. I then did the unlock procedure from the xda folks. Then I installed the GPS functionality files. Everything works perfectly, but I still have a couple of questions.

1. Is there a way to change the GPS to use assisted or all sat?
2. I have an unlimited data plan, does the GPS function cause any additional charges?
3. How do I upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1? Is it worth it? Do I have to reinstall everything, if I do upgrade? Do I have to redo the GPS functionality?

I am new to the Pocket PC stuff and hate to sound ignorant, but how else will I learn.

I'm on Alltel also so maybe I can help a little. Your GPS question can probably be answered here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=363431 This sticky on the xda-developers site will answer all your GPS questions. I'm not a GPS guru. If you have the Alltel unlimited data plan you will not see any additional charges using your GPS. To get WM 6.1 at this time I believe you will need to flash a custom rom. If you flash a custom ROM you will need to reinstall any third party apps you installed. Most of the newer custom ROMS are GPS roms and they will allow you to use your GPS capabilities with a GPS radio.
