Missing autocomplete for messaging
 

After upgrading to N2C 5067 kitchen, my messaging apps no longer autocomplete addresses or SMS numbers when I start typing in the To: field. Does anyone know the registry setting that affects this functionality??

try start / settings / personal / input and one of the tabs has autocomplete options

All of those autocomplete options are checked off... I just now realized that I don't get auto complete even when I'm typing the messages regularly... It's like that functionality is completely missing from my phone!

Did you load either the Touch or Diamond keyboards?

yeah, reflash in the kitchen and make sure NOT to select the Touch or Diamond keyboard. they have their own autocomplete function, which cancels out the built in WM 6.1 auto-complete..leaving you with none.

boo/hiss I just now realized this too (from another thread) and I'm trying to uninstall the dumb thing but it keeps locking my device... bleh.. flash again!
