Why am I getting that message whenever I build my own rom. I use to build my rom on xp no problem, but now, when I build it on this vista machine I keep getting access to this path is denied?

are you right klicking and selecting run as admin?

no, when I click play on the build, after it says build complete, when it tries to load the updater I get that message.

when you go to open build os, make sure you run as administrator, or you wont have permission to write to the folders it has to write to

i think the lack of admin status is preventing buildos from writing the rom into the ruu folder, so access denied because it does not exist

So this is an option that is in the actual buildos program, or is my windows blocking it?

windows, you have to run buildos as admin

I am an admin user when i'm running the program, other then that i don't know what you mean. If you could expain, I would greatly appreciate it.

just right click buildos and there will be an option to run as administrator in the context menu.
