Active sync issue
 

I had this issue before and for the life of me I cannot remember how I fixed it......I cannot get my contacts to sync....it will sync everything except contacts....this happened quite some time ago to me and I did manage to get it going.....cant remember how I did it..](*,)..any help will be appreciated.

FYI.....running WMDC. (Vista)...but this issue happened on 4.5 last time on XP....

are contacts that need sync on the phone or computer? and does it error, or does it just not let you select contacts for sync?

They are on the phone now only....I played with it trying to get it to work and wiped them off the computer and then used PIM to add them back to the phone, thinking that would work.....it does let me select them and there are no errors at all....I am starting to think hard reset may be the only way aroud it, but I cannot remember if that worked last time....
I am thinking that will not work though ...I am gonna try and play with the Outlook 07 profile.....we shall see what happens....](*,)



Got it fixed.....I had to hard reset and add 1 dummy contact into the laptop......sync witht the 1....and then re-sync and all contacts were added....I believe that the hard reset is not needed the only reason I did it is because NO2Chem updated to 5069d....so I re-flashed...I think if you just add 1 contact to the PC/Laptop it acts as a primer....I believe that is what I did last time....
