Issue with MSVC v1.6.19213 in WM6.1 Kitchen.
 
First off, when I searched for this in the HTC Titan Upgrades forum, the results came back from all the upgrade forums. :scratch:

That proved to be a good thing in this case, because it led me to this post in the HTC Apache Upgrades forum: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=27441

I have used MSVC v1.6.19213 successfully in several 5060 and earlier Kitchen ROMs. However with 5067, this version beeps as if it is ready for a command, but the little microphone doesn't show up on the title bar, and it doesn't respond to any commands. It doesn't give the time out beep either.

In the Apache thread, they said that reverting to the previous version fixed the issue, and it works as well. Before I reflash, is anyone else experiencing this problem with this version and 5067 on the Titan and/or found a solution other than reverting to the previous version?

There are many programs that dont currently work with 5067, so your only option is going back to an older version until 5067's bugs are fixed.

I am looking at my titan right now and have no issues with it. Some times I dont get the initial beep, but the microphone is still there and waiting for a command.

Open your regedit and rename BTAGExtModule to \\Windows\vcbthag.dll

After a reboot, that worked! :) Thanks man! :headbang:

I assume something in the 5067 Kitchen overwrote it, and hopefully one of the chefs can figure out what and why.
