Do I have a brick?
 
After installing the latest kitchen, my mogul showed an error over an unexecutable file. It is frozen there and hard reset and all soft resets result in the same thing, frozen. Should I drive my car over the phone and get a new one with the insurance?

No, you should put it in bootloader and flash a new ROM.

What screen are you seeing? Is it multi color - Bootloader? If no press at the same time the (power-camera-softreset) so you see the multi color screen - bootloaader. Next find a stock rom for your carrier and flash to it. Then start over with your kitchen again. When something messes up I find its best to start over from stock.

Ok, I got the tri colored screen, but I can't get ActiveSync to see it. Any moves there?

Don't worry about active sync just plug it in and run the ROM upgrade utility from a STOCK rom. Active sync wont see it in Bootloader. After you get nomrl then play with the kitchen again.
