Which Core Is newer 19213.1.0.4 or 19581.1.1.1

So can anyone tell me which core is newer. 19213.1.0.4 or the Diamond 19581.1.1.1 The Diamond looks like it has a newer Aku 1.1.1 but I have heard the build may be older on the HTC diamond than the19213.1.0.4. I also been told the HTC test builds where higher. I at a loss. LOL If anyone knows halla.

Thanks,

Mikee

19581.1.1.1 is newer. I wouldn't focus so much on build numbers though, not much of a difference between them, to be honest.

I need to learn how to port my own XIP... that way I don't have to rip my hair out waiting for the master no2chem to release them ;)

Thanks no2chem for the info. I threw the 19581.1.1.1 on my hermes. Nothing much special. =P

So 19581 isn't nice? lol

How's it running on your Hermes, mikee?

Its quick with a 16MB page pool. I just flashed to it an hour ago. MSVC works with all builds. Booting with 14MB of free ram. =P Spontanious screen change from port to land but this is not a Titan. Ive been trying to get the GPS to work in my hermes but I have given up... Works on my Titan so I will settle with that for now.

16MB pagepool? Damn.

Hmm... just read how to port the XIP... I might take a stab at it... I just need to find the original ROM that had it. *off to XDA*

The thing to keep in mind is that newer does not necessarily mean better.

19213 is the most recent release rom - therefore most likely to be stable
19581 is the diamond rom, obviously not quite released, but not "test" either
There are other, higher build #'s for "test" roms - obviously the least likely to be stable, but the newest builds.

porting isn't the hard part...it's all the other stuff that no2chem does that's hard (and also what makes his core so nice)

We're looking at revamping kitchen structures to reduce the work load associated with making new kitchen bases, which should also reduce the time to release and improve release quality.

Yeah I was kidding for the most part. I don't have the time or the patience to port my own XIP and even if I did, I don't have no2chem's skills and experience so I'd end up wasting all my time for nothing anyway lol.

If it's something you're interesting in learning, it's definitely not a waste of time. Plus, you just happen to be in the right place at the right time if you want to learn. If you need help just ask :P
