Stuck on 2nd Splash screen, could not find solution via Search
 

I loaded the bootloader 2.4, updated the radio to 3.35 via the Sprint upgrade (and I think that's where i made the mistake)

My VZW 6800 goes to the 2nd splash screen (past the radio version screen) straight to a blank VZW splash and just sites there forever.

Tried Soft, Hard and battery removal resets.

Windows XP will not recognize it on the USB connection for me to
try anything else.

I could not find any help through the search function. any advice?

Which rom did you load? Did you load a PPC kitchen? Also, you said you did the Sprint upgrade. Did you soft reset before the Sprint customizations ran?

I had the same problem. Try hard resetting and see if it goes past the boot screen.

You said you upgraded the radio...did you not run the HTC Sprint OEM package which also updates the ROM (probably not, at least not successfully, if you have a VZW splash screen)? If not, put your phone into bootloader (camera-power-reset) and hook it up to the USB cable, run the entire OEM Sprint upgrade package, do not allow the customizations to run, and it should be ready for you to flash one of the custom ROMs for Verizon.

You need to flash a 3.35+ OS ROM or a kitchen OS ROM. Your pre-3.35 OS ROM will not work with your new 3.35+ radio. Put your phone in bootloader (power+camera+reset = bootloader = tri-color screen) and you'll be able to flash (activesync won't work, but you can still flash).
