Trying to get new radio
 

im trying to get the new radio, as im on vz, but i cant figure out how to get the new sprint rom to run on my phone, i know not to let the customizations run, but i cant even get the rom to start on the phone...how do i do this? sorry for the newb question, i tried searching, but reading 90 pages is kind of more than i can handle right now..

just unlock with 2.40 unlocker then flash whenever it says customizations run reset the phone. then all should be good.

so which radio do you have.if you have the 3.35 radio flash the leaked rom then when it says the thing about customizations reset it.

If you flash a sprintROM for the radio, do u have to relock? i already unlocked before, but didnt upgrade the radio, so should i relock or can i flash a sprint rom then flash my own ROM?

NO DO NOT RELOCK EVER! (Unless returning to vendor for repair) Just flash to the latest Leaked 3.49 sprint rom which will upgrade the radio. Now if your phone is hard spl 2.40 you are fine. Just make sure to have the stylus ready when it boots to the today screen. You do not want sprint customizations to run.

If you are already spl unlocked with Olipro's 2.40 you do not have to re run the unlocker at all.

i never unlocked with 2.4...now just looking for the 3.39 radio (official rom b/c i dont have the right SD card). you know when you go away for a little, you miss a lot!

im flashing now but it is hanging at 11% and the screen went back to the tri color screen. nope, nope....there it goes, guess that was the radio...ok...back to flashing. forgot how much flashing gives me an ulcer

Yeah its weird how it flashes and stops. You just have to be patient

i hate that part of flashing but after your done you feel so accomplished and sometimes a warm fuzzy feeling inside. that might just be no matter i am ROM flashing addict.

ok all up and running now thanks...new radio is nice, seems to connect to GPS faster.
