Can this be a new Qwest Update? IT IS!
 

So, I saw today that there is a Software Download link on the HTC page for the Qwest Mogul. It wasn't there before ... at least that I've seen. The link doesn't go anywhere; just keeps refreshing the page.

I'm hoping this means they are getting ready to have the upgrade! It would be wierd with all of the Verizon changes comming and all. I had lost hope when the Verizon news came out. I thought the Mogul would stagnate until the change to the new contract.

Interesting Radio version, 3.35.20... Doesn't Qwest = Sprint? notice the user name "QwestTitan6800@spri...ntpcs.com"

EDIT: that reminds me, how does MMS work on Qwest? Does it have MMS or uses picture mail? Would be interesting to see what the settings are if it does use MMS like Arcsoft.

Qwest is an MVNO of Sprint (meaning Qwest uses Sprint to provide wireless service as it doesn't have its own wireless network). I'm glad to see that Qwest actually went through the trouble of updating their software for its users albeit a long time coming.

I'm currently using no2's 5066 rom and am VERY happy with it so probably won't use it but it's nice to have in case I have to get my unit serviced as I don't have the original radio and rom... lol

Well, curiosity got the best of me.. Flashed my mogul late last night to the new official Qwest rom. It's pretty fast (changing to horizontal mode is almost instantaneous) and the bluetooth seems to be working pretty much better. After I flashed, I checked the memory, 48% used... not bad. Using GPStoday, I get a satellite lock in a few seconds (maybe 5-10).

I'm gonna work with this a few more days and add my suite of programs and see how well it does then...

Is the new update WM6.1 or the same WM6? The Sprint leaked 3.49 test rom comes with radio 3.49 and wm6.1 ... so asked. Me running QWest too ... ;)

I just checked, and lo and behold, they FIXED THE VOICEMAIL COUNTER!

Small miracle, but very welcome.
