Re: iceROM is officially here

Half Decaf - A little bit, allot of builds. Most of the time went to setting the base structure for some of my appz that will come out in 0.1.X

electronicrice - It was a disrespectful b00n way of saying it and it received a rude comment. Especially on first release, when the ROM settles in so will the rest. You don't see JR over here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=19054 tooting his horn do you? Was there any less credit? Absolutely not. I am actually doing allot more then bloat filling a ROM. I am trying to lay a foundation structure for my development and a stream line based OS to eventually build into my own XIP. Theres no right to jump down my throat telling me what I need to be doing when they don't even know what I am doing. People that have helped receive personal gratitude from me as they know because they were involved not JR. When things are more stable perhaps something more flattering.

It has to do with the way I wrote some of the config files and scripts. They need to be rewritten for sprint but I don't have a sprint setup to base from.

I wonder just how much you'd have to change...

Sprint and Alltel use extremely similar network configuration...

I'm going to try it anyway. *shrugs*

EDIT: Nevermind, I see you're working on a Sprint version. I'll just wait for that one.

You've got the same link for Sprint and Alltel.

Its reuploading now checksum failed. Yeah the link is a directory, the ROM's will be labeled Sprint and Alltel.

I don't know if you edited your original post or not, because I had no trouble finding credit to no2chem in it, but your response was over the top. A simple "I gave credit where credit is due" would have sufficed.

But... your password implies you have some affiliation with ppckitchen.org. Did I miss you at the last employee meeting? Was that thanks for the tools, kitchens, oems, and help we provided? (not asking for thanks, just asking if that's what that was)

Not much, since he's using no2chem's kitchen base. Something like select Sprint from the dropdown? Depending on how he implemented his Alltel customizations, he might have a little trouble removing them. I wouldn't expect so, however, as that's a rookie mistake.

gguruusa - the @ppckitchen.org was my way of adding credit to kitchen and the Legand is my kitchen name as you know from IRC. And no the only editing was for links and the sprint stuff, no2's credit stayed as always. Perhaps it was over top, just the fact of starting my thread with poo slinging made me bitter.

Yes its the way I setup the packages. Anyways sprint one is up now. It was no big deal, my prob was I did not know how the sprint setup worked and what files it used. I needed some files off of the sprint ROM to make sure what I was doing would work.

Re: iceROM is officially here

I'm still debating if I want to go back to a 5060 ROM... I'm really liking the increased memory/performance of 5067.
