Possible to use OEMizer or something outside of a kitchen for customization of 5066?
I have searched and read until nausea sets in, which usually works, but this time I can't get my brain wrapped around what is needed to automatically set some things up after a flash. I am using 5066, which isn't kitchened yet, so I can't use the autoinstall tool there, which is the only thing I am familiar with.
Is there a way to have oemizer or some other tool generate an autoexec file that will run on the first boot to do the following: Set up email account Set power/brightness settings Owner name Device ID Ringer type ("vibrate then ring" and volume) Set "Do not lock buttons" USB to PC- uncheck advanced network functionality Time Zone I know how to have it install cabs, that's not so hard, but I am struggling with settings. I have done most of these things within the kitchen, but can't find any resources on how to do it outside of a kitchen. |

search for user customization or uc over at xda in the development and hacking forum.
there is a smaller thread here somewhere. |

You can: make a .cab that sets your reg settings and have tautoisntall install that, you can make a .reg file and install that, or you can make a provxml file to do not only registry changes but other things as well.
