ok just for some clarification... the ROM is acting buggy, but what's the general concensus on using the RADIO only? how is it performing? better reception, better rev a speeds? better GPS? I'm dying to upgrade the radio, but this test rom/radio seem like the jury is still out!

Im in the same boat. Im trying to get better reception at my house. Even 1 more bar would be nice.

I just downloaded it anyway. I'm probably going to give it a whirl later on tonight. Im running the Alltel Rom with Vetvitos black pill flashed over it. I will do it again tonight. Flash the Rom/Radio and reflash the black pill, to see what I end up with.

Does this ROM require Olipro or any SPL hack? I can't get it to install natively. I get an error 328 whenever it starts the process.j

Re: New "Official" Sprint ROM (3.49, radio 3.39.10)

I did it. I would have liked to keep the sprint setup because I had 5 bars, but I had to flash all the Cricket stuff on there and now Im back to 2, nothing really changed. I just spent 45 minutes on the phone and pretty much the same fuzzy spots in my house as before. I havent tried GPS yet. What I did notice was going back to the Sprint Rom, now the phone is branded everywhere with the Sprint PCS logos on the Todays screen that you cant get rid of. I liked the Alltel Rom better for that, no branding anywhere besides the startup splash. Although I cant justify the extra $50 a month to go to Sprint for the same unlimited I have with CricKet for half the cost.
