make sure that your micro sd card is formatted for FAT32. It won't work unless you do so. You must also boot into bootloader mode to start the process. To enter bootloader you have to press the camera and power button at the same time and hold while resetting the phone. You'll get the rainbow effect and then the following screen will prompt you to install the update. Once you finish, you may have to take the battery out for about 30 seconds.

I'm with the other posters, how do we get rid of the cheap looking "Test" on bootup? And has anyone gotten Sprintv to work? I flashed this one, but since STV didn't work, I went back to the stock rom. I may just give up the STV for now, since I rarely watch it. But the lame "Test" at startup just gets my goat, for some reason.

I like the "Test Only". It makes me feel like I'm in a elite group. Or like I'm breaking the law. :-\"

One thing I noticed though. I can flash the rom from my xp machine at work. But it cannot connect to the phone to do it at home with vista. although, it works fine with mobile device center.

Ha haa! Lsme420, same here. and you won't be able to get rid of it until someone hacks it like the first gps test rom, or the new Sprint factory rom is released.

haha, yeah - breakin the law :headbang:

actually you can change the boot/splash screens w/out flashing a new r0m, i think i read a thread somewhere @ XDA that explained how, but another way would be to flash a new kitchen r0m cuz you can customize boot/splash in the kitchen
