Is there a "lite" 6.1 rom yet?

I remember the 6700 days, when the best rom out was the slimmed down- no frills, basic, fast, stable, super simple rom.
I can't seem to find one for the 6800.

Vetvito is close, but is there any stripped rom out with 6.1?

u could make a very basic stripped 6.1 rom with the 5060 base using the ppckitchen.

I was just looking to do that actually. I read and read about manipulating the variables in the kitchen gui in order to customize my own rom, but it still seems like more people are having errors with the files than successes. Is it easy? It seems difficult.

using the most recent updated ppckitchen i made my current rom in about 10 mins. its very simple.
but remember Before u flash a custom rom, be sure u flash the 2.40 unlocker. otherwise u will be in a p.i.t.a. endless reboot cycle.
Hope this helps,

Yeah, I'm familiar with the unlocker issues and flashing from stock. My wariness lies in "dropping in oems" I don't even know what that means! I was just looking at no2chems kitchen from ppckitchen.org and got lost before I even started. I think I may have missed something somewhere.

if u dl the kitchen it comes with an option the first time u run it to dl a bunch of oems so u dont have to mess with that kind of stuff. i know i was super nervous the first time i flashed my own custom rom but it turned out to be for nothing. it was insanely easy and effortless.

Or you can just flash no2chem's base without using the kitchen at all. It's as stripped down as you're going to get.

Downloading the ROM justpctech. Thanks!
I finally got the kitchen to work- I was loading the wrong base this whole time! Finally figured it out and cooked myself my first rom. Didn't turn out the way I expected.
I wanted a clean rom, and once I saw all the options, I didn't even have enough ram left to run msvc!! LOL!
I'm going to try your rom and then we'll see.
What do I do with the nbh file once downloaded in order to use it in the upgrade utility?

P.S. I'm just east of Little Italy- SD
