Does anyone here know how QChat works? As in, does it require a special chip or is it software based?

I ask because the Titan is RevA and if it was software based then would it not be possible to create a ROM that would allow you to use QChat?

All that is of course ignoring the fact that you would have to get Sprint to add the ability to a phone that "doesnt offer it".
