Can I save it??

Is there a way to pull an image of the rom i currently have installed on the phone? I was playing around with DCD's kitchen and finally made a rom that i like but do not remember what options that i selected. I still want to try a few other roms before i decide on what one to run but i dont want to lose this one.

Thanks in advance

my only suggestion would be to backup that setup with either SPB or SPRITE backup... i dont know of any free ways to make rom images...

You cannot back up the ROM on the phone, but you CAN back up the most recent ROM you produced in the kitchen. Search your computer for the .nbh file that you created and copy it off to another location, then you can copy it into an RUU and re-flash it later.

None of the backup programs back up the ROM, they only backup programs, data, and settings.

oops...thought I was in the Apache forum! I don't think s2d works on Titan or later HTC devices.

Weird, I thought it was d2s to copy the DOC 2 the SD card, and that does work on the Apache, but not the titan. Nice try though GGuru maybe you should stick to your .net apps =P

Seriously though, roms should generally be saved from the nbh side. Dumps have been made of most all stock roms when the nbh wasn't shipped from carriers. For kitchen roms, you should use the PPCkitchen.org version and save the selections.txt. If you want personal settings from after the rom was created you need a SPB or Sprite type of program.

I'm no good at that either.

But, I still have both of my phones. :)

If you haven't tried to make a new rom since the last time you burned in your current rom, you can look for the .nbh file and rename it to something that would remind you what is was. Then you can mix and match new ones and always re-rename the original back and reburn it if you later decided to do so.
