2chem 6.1 VZW cant auth?!?
 

I flashed to the lasted sprint stock for rev a etc, then built a custom rom from the kitchen and now I cant make calls text etc. Im roaming on the VZW network atm and it keeps coming back saying they cant authenticate my phone. Everthing looks good is the epst. Any ideas?

I've heard sometime you have to get VZW to reset your AKey to fix issues like this. have you checked that yet? did you copy it down before you started?

yes you need to call vzw and tell then you hard reset your phone and it wont authenticate. you need them to give you a new 'akey'.
you will only need to do this , this one time - when you upgrade the radio..
subsequent ROM flashes will require you to do a *228, to get you back up and running. you wont need another akey

But im a sprint customer? No I didnt write down my akey from before, never had issues flashing before =(.

guess we are mis-understanding the situation here. so you flashed a Sprint rom w/radio, and now its roaming on VZW network? hmm...might try the PRL; make sure its one of the latest ones.

ya, sorry - my bad for not getting this.
sprint doesnt use akeys... so then why the vzw rom?
you should reflash , ensuring you pick sprint as the carrier.

Yes, Im at my GF house ATM where sprint doesnt cover so it roams on to vzw went to make and call and nothing, was okay when I was in sprint coverage.. Just flashed back to the new stock rom and still nothing. Might have to give sprint a call and see if something isnt right with the epst info.
