Kitchens and Files

My question should be relatively simple for those of you seasoned vets.

I have been playing with the kitchens for a while now. I have downloaded the kitchens from PPCKitchen.org and have made my own from various base kits.

Anyway, from these kitchens, there are some applications I'd like to install but be able to remove if I don't like them. Basically, I'd like them in .CAB form and not part of the ROM itself. For example, iContacts. I'd love that in CAB form if possible.

Can someone explain to me, or point me in the right direction, to convert some of these apps from the kitchen into CAB form so I can remove them if I want to?

Most of the 3rd party OEMs that are found in kitchens originate from cab files. Not much of a point going the other way around if they already exist.

iContacts for example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...9&postcount=10

There's a commercial cab manager. WinCE Cab by OPC Software ($99) that's pretty easy to use. You can also make cabs using makecab.exe that comes with Windows.

Thanks man. I've found some tools I'm going to toy with, but you saved me from a headache with iContacts. I like it, but haven't found a way to sort by company or anything yet.
