After Upgrade to WM6.1 w/ TELUS HTC P4000
 

folks, i followed the instructions and upgrade went successfully. however one downside, i noticed the top bar rather than saying evdo it now show the antenna and along with three ... at the bottom instead of showing evdo.

im pretty sure im getting the evdo speed but am i doing something wrong that cause the display to show ... instead of evdo. it seems to display 1X no problem when im connected to it ..

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do u have the offical release of 6.1 and if so where did u get it?

its a custom 6.1

Do you have a link to it? My boss just picked up a Telus P4000, I wanna flash it for him.

I figure since yours worked so well it's the one I should use.

Does anyone know were i can get the official 6.1 update i believe it was suppose to come out today.

From the post I have read here, it is to come out some time this summer. Which leads me to the question: Why does my phone have a "Windows Update Feature if I have to wait for an update to go to Sprint, and then wait for them to release it?"

yeah thats what sucks they are tryin to do the phone right with the rev a and gps now finish it with the 6.1 and make me feel like i spent my money well.
