does anyone know of any audio recorders that record in mp3 instead of in wav format
 

i have been searching but i can't find any for mobile devices. i know there are plenty for desktop but just wondering if any one has any thanx in advance

I recall a very simple note program that recorded in Mp3 format. I think it's called Notem or something like that. (don't expect high fidelity recordings)

I believe Resco Audio Recorder does so. Of course, its not free.
