Re: Confirm source of Bluetooth problem?

The problem is most likely that your phone is operating at bluetooth 2.0 and your headset is 1.2 which even though it should be backward compatible is causing a I/O crash in one of the protocols.

Well, that's something to go on. I bought this headset as more of a temporary measure. It was on sale for a ridiculous price, and I didn't want to buy the current Jawbone as I knew a new one would probably be announced soon (it was FCC-leaked only days later), but I needed one right away. I'm sure when I upgrade I'll have less concern.

I had a similar issue with my Moto Q but it was reversed the Jawbone is 2.0 and phone is 1.2 and i'll be dammed if some days it wasnt awesome and others the pits. Nothing like answering a call and having it chill out in space somewhere.

That was the one thing that gave me pause last time I bought this headset. Nowhere on the packaging does it say what version of Bluetooth it has. I took that to mean 1.2. But it worked fine with my last phone for the couple of days I used it before my wife borrowed it and lost it. That's when it was still $90, too. *sigh*

i have having the same issue running a t505 and keys stripped down 3.35 rom. I noticed the problem happened more after i installed pocket toolman. I have not done a hard reset yet, and will probably be changing back to dcd or vetvitos new rom once it comes out. But i can't do anythign till i get XP back on my system (yay M$), unless someone know how to flash from linux?

If you have the current radio and the current unlocked bootloader, you can flash from your memory card. Make sure the card is formatted as FAT32, then put the nbh file in its root and name it TITAIMG.nbh . Then enter the bootloader (hold power and camera while hitting the soft-reset button), and it will automatically load the ROM and ask if you want to flash it.

This problem seems to be linked to HTC Home for me. Turning it off fixed it.

I'm running N2C 5060 based ROM.

I am having the same problem with a Parrot 3200LS car kit. When I disconnect from it I get no audio with it without a soft reset. I use a Jabra, Nokia, bluetooth and it does not happen. It just started today after installing the Parrot kit. I previously had a Motorola car kit with no problem. I have a xv6800 with nuechem 6.1 on verizon.

Re: Confirm source of Bluetooth problem?

It has absolutely nothing to do with different versions of Bluetooth. The problem is experienced with both 1.2 and 2.0 versions of the software based devices.
