The developer couldn't program his way out of a paper bag, that's why. It's been fixed, but not released through updater just yet.

For keyboard skins, the website on the right-click menu gives a full page of screenshots.

This might be useful to put on the first post so everyone doesn't have to remember what "page" it is on. (along with the keyboard skins).

This is a complete newbie question, but with this ROM, sometimes my service shows that it's connecting to Alltel (I am a Sprint user). With the official ROM it NEVER shows up as being connected to Alltel. Is anything actually changing, i.e. am I getting charged extra?

You may need to update your PRL or run IOTA.
