Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060
I don't have time to compare yet, but are the only fixes in the new selections file the correct file name for the RAR and the addition of the USER_OEM reference? If so I did that on my own, otherwise I want to make whatever other adjustments I need.
The other "issue" I have is simply that I personally like to start from no2chem's own setup (all the stuff he puts standard in his ROMs) and work up from there. So maybe having two selections files for 5060, one clean and one recommended, might be in order? It's just a personal thing, but since I like what he does, and know relatively little about his customizations, I don't like to tempt fate by possibly leaving off something I don't know anything about that's more important than I realize. |

Internet Sharing is the only option you need to choose to boot. No2chem tweaks have been built in. Unhide phone settings, time sync on, move pc-to-usb over to connection settings, hide customer feedback, hide contrast, hide encryption, button defs, and security policies, all built in. The rest are still available as tweaks. |
Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060
Okay, forget everything I posted before. Internet Sharing was left optional in the release. So, I have no idea why the error pops up. It seemed to only happen on the first load of buildos though.

Re: Titan Kitchen CE OS 5.2.19209 (Build 19209.1.0.2) aka 5060
OK, i have been around and around with un-official releases, work arounds and the such.. you may remember when I posted and stated I would only use official kitchen releases and only update using the updater included with buildOS... I have done that, updated to 5060 and guess what.. it does not work. It installed fine, when I select 5060 it loads ok, untill the errors start about GUID's and missing DSM's. Is there something anyone at all can possibly suggest other than telling me to search, I have read read and read and figured I would ask this here as I know, asking these kinds of questions before the official release was absolutely pointless, I hope for better results now :-) thank you in advance.
Examples: Internal Error - Option.xml GUID not found (nueHibernate - fffffffff-blah-blah-blah-blah) then one after the other, Disable Application Security, AD2P hack, Button Definitions etc etc etc etc etc Then is comes to Set GlyphCache to 32KB where it says Duplicate GUID Then all this is left in the log after the errors are done. Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_nuetools_nuehibernate No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_nuetools_nuehibernate Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_AppSecurity No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_AppSecurity Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_BTA2DP No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_BTA2DP Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_registry_buttondefs No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_registry_buttondefs Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_Cleartype No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_Cleartype Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_DataTimer No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_DataTimer Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_DisableCameraPortrait No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_DisableCameraPortrait Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_DisableNativeCommManager No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_DisableNativeCommManager Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_EnableObex61 No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_EnableObex61 Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_GlyphCache32 No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_GlyphCache32 Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_HiddenOptions No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_HiddenOptions Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_HideContrast No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_HideContrast Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_HideCustomerFeedback No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_HideCustomerFeedback Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_Hide_EncryptionCPL No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_Hide_EncryptionCPL Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_ieRes No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_ieRes Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_IE_default No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_IE_default Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_registry_OOM_adjustLOW512kb No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_registry_OOM_adjustLOW512kb Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_registry_OOM_adjustVLOW512kb No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_registry_OOM_adjustVLOW512kb Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_PowerManagement No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_PowerManagement Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_scrollbar_9 No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_scrollbar_9 Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_setTitleBar No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_setTitleBar Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_SMS_NoSent No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_SMS_NoSent Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_Time_Sync No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_Time_Sync Scanning module: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_WM61_MoveAdvancedUSBl No .DSM file: USER_OEM\no2chem_Registry_WM61_MoveAdvancedUSBl Any thoughts? |

All of those no2chem oems you have in USER_OEM are unnecisary and already included. (See post 13)
That should fix it. |
