After new Kitchen audio doesn't work
 

I can't tell you how awesome this kitchen is. It's made my brick sized worth using. I've been waiting for this kitchen for a while (using No2chem's 5054 in the meantime with no problems).

Unfortunately right after I finished uploading my kitchen it seems like my audio driver crashes. Here's what happens:

When the phone is first finished, right after uploading the new rom, the sound works. By sound I mean the tones for numbers when you dial works, the phone makes those little menu clicks and whatnot. I can even dial a number and it starts to work, but the moment my call is connected all sounds shuts off. I am still connected but I can't hear the people I'm connected to (as far as I know they can't hear me). After the call I can't hear the number tones, I can't hear the menu clicks, and I can't hear rings. It's like the audio driver fails and doesn't work after my first call.

I thought maybe it was a certain selection on the kitchen so I tried all the basic roms (minimum selections) with the kitchen. Still had the audio problem.

I tried going back to the No2Chem rom that I was using before and STILL the audio isn't working.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

Well after an entire day (from when I woke up to now) I've been trying to fix this issue. I have No2Chem's 5048 rom and that's the ONLY one I can get to work. Who knows how long that will work for. I'm going to try to re-install the radio and see if that fixes anything.

Hey did you ever fix your audio problem?? The reason why I am asking is I am having the exact same issue. I am very new to flashing and I love the rom except for the audio problem and now my camera does not work at all. I can turn on the camera but it is just a black screen. Please help!!!!

Ok, so I'm not sure what caused the problem though my guess is that it was a Radio Driver issue.

I installed the newest official Sprint 3.35 ROM and that fixed the audio issue.

HOWEVER: If you are using Verizon BE SURE you follow these instructions thoroughly. I effed up and am still trying to get the internet to work.

Anyway, if your comfertable with upgrading the Radio give the sprint rom a try.
