Re: App for quick install?

Generally, I have noticed that most forums are getting to be a place of animosity lately. I am not sure if it because some people are in general not happy with themselves and want to lash out or because they are in a relationship that does not allow them to be in control. I am not a psychiatrist; nor would I ever want to spend my day listening to other peoples problems. Therefore I cannot tell you why some people act this way online.

That said, let's all just relax. Certain people are flipping out because someone asked a question that was answered (several times?) before. Well, ok then. Why can't we just offer some advice on search terms, as some people did, and move on. Or if that is asking too much, ignore the thread all together. This is a forum, this is not real life. It really isn't that big of a deal. I haven't been around here for too long, but I don't mind reading repetitive posts, because everyone has to be a noob somewhere.

And being rude is not what I think the moderators want here. Because rudeness turns people away. It in no way will bring people together, as a forum is meant to do. The guy that got flamed for asking a question might be the next big custom rom contributor. You just don't know, and none of us ever will, if tempers and rude comments just lash out at him.

Just my thoughts...

It depends on who the kid is :) ...if you look, my first and second post in this thread provided solutions to the original post rather than take up more wasted space by flaming. My previous post was merely to show the direction this thread has taken. Pointless. Yes, I agree pretty much everything after page 1 of this thread is silly.
