Help Me Quick!!!

So, I get this bright idea to update the wifes phone like mine. The phone does not respond to hard spl 2.40, so I use version 1.2. I install the radio then my rom of choice. Everytime I use the phone function, it reboots. So I retry 2.40, and it says the update is complete, but the rom still reads bootloader 1.20. When I try to install the sprint 3.35 it hangs at 11% and goes back to the boot loader screen.

I have the wifes phone in limbo, so my life is going to be a living hell. PLEASE HELP!!!
