Track changes made by applications
I have successfully done a UC script to install all my applications. The only problem I am having is having the script configure the applications and enter serial keys and numbers. Is there an appllication that i can run in the Mogul that will track changes to the registry and files?
I want to see what changes an application makes to the files or the registry when I enter a registration key. That way I can copy the files or the registry entries and make them part of the initial script. Thank you, Mario |
Re: Track changes made by applications
Your best bet is to use a registry compare program. Export your registry before you enter the serial number, then export it again after. CompareIt works very well for this purpose.

Re: Track changes made by applications
Thanks Azclown,
I was able to get the registration information for SPB Software apps. People who want to do this can do a search for the product key under the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT registry and export the complete CLSID parent key. I have not been able to find the information for Resco applications (File Explorer, Audio Recorder and Keyboard Pro). If anybody knows where these apps store the registration information please let me know. Thanks, Mario |
