nueFonts .cab?
 
Is no2chem's nueFonts application that is in his ROMS's available as a .cab install anywhere?

They're not necessarily the ones he uses in his ROM, but I have a collection posted in my FTP folder (see link in signature).

Arial
Times New Roman
Segoe UI
Calibri
Cambria
Trebuchet
Comic Sans

I'll CAB the nueFonts app if he or someone else posts the executable and dependencies.

The nueFonts applet is not posted there in OEM or CAB format, hence the posts.

Here you go. This is the 1.0 version extracted from a 5054 basekit I had downloaded before.

Iit works great! So..........I guess we're done here then, LOL. Thanks Stroths. It might be cool for it to install just in the general programs instead of a subdirectory though.

Here is an updated version that includes my font collection (Arial, Calibri, Cambria, Comic Sans, Times New Roman, and Trebuchet) and the nueFonts tool.

gives me error in setup file on this last version.. cabviaactivesync, haven't tried via ppc yet.

can anyone share there settigns on nuefonts on there 320 by 240 screen?

i tried multiple settings and i am having problems for example when i go into the configuration on ultimate launcher and half the buttons on the bottom are cut off and i cannot read... they no longer fit on the screen... but the weird thing.. on that screen the fonts did not change.. on the today screen and other parts of the phone i see the fonts have changed.... what do those numbers mean next to the font selection .... first one is default 900 then next two are 800 and the bottom one is -12 ..... ?

looking for the correct adjustment to make all the buttons display on my touch vogue... i am using the zzPix font for everything...

what is OOM FOnt ...?

is there a way not to use one of the fonts in program and just use the default system font...?

any help is greatly appreciated . i am not sure iof this program is just compatible with 320x320 devices or vga devices

I haven't played with nuefonts in a while, but I have noticed that programs like PHMRegedit and PocketMechanic do not like it when you change the system font. Basically because they weren't coded to adjust for anything except the stock tahoma font. 900 is the size in points I beleive, the bigger the number, the bigger the font. And lastly, an OOM font...The only thing that kicks in my brain is "OutOfMemory" exception errors, so it may be a good thing you never see this font.. :) And nuefonts changes the winmo system registry, so it should work with any winmo device. Ultimate launcher, you need to go into the settings and change the vertical and horizontal spacing for the tab, I haven't used that in a while either, but I think it's font is defined by the program in the ini file? Ask the UL pros on that one.

if i uninstall nuefons.. how would i get things back to the system fonts ... back to normal ... i tried uninstalling but then all the fonts were big and it was loading some other font i guess in my windows folder ....

is there anything i should also do ?

why not just set everything back to takoma?

i am not sure what the sizes should be in nuefonts to go back to default sizes

try the 900 and adjust up or down as needed.
