Power Vision NO longer working with new rom

Before I upgraded to the leaked rom with gps and rev a my power vision was working correctly and I was getting speeds of aprox 400-500kb down, after I upgraded to the leaked rom it dropped to 20-25kb down.

I hated it but I figured hey the GPS alone is worth it to me since I have to drive a lot for my job. Now that the official rom came out I was hoping that it would fix this issue for me but it seems as it has not.

I'm not using a custom rom at the moment, just the factory latest rom 3.35.

Any suggestions you may be able to point out to why this may have happened and what I can do about it?

Thanks in advance!

I've reflashed it twice. hard reset doesn't do anything. i've tried the get settings for IOTA but when I push start nothing happens, I push it multiple times and still nothing happens.

Are you skipping the customizations at startup? Those are important. Hard reset, and run them again.
Another thing, check your info in ##778# if you have it.

Hmm yes I do skip the customizations. I never thought that would have affected it. Is there a way to restart the customizations without having to hard reset the phone?

Skreemer7-

You were correct! The IOTA cab installs during the customization process. So thats why it wouldn't work. Now that I've hard reset and and it does work, my problem now is when I try to connect to vision, I get error code 67.

Error code 67 registration failure. your PCS Vision username and/or password may be incorrect. Please try again.

Any thoughts here? When I look in device information, for my username it inserted the ESN number followed by some other information which obviously is not correct.

Is there a way to get the phone to autodetect the settings somehow from sprint?

If your not using a custom rom, just call sprint. It's not always a waste of time to contact them even if it seems that way most of the time.

Called Sprint as you suggested. Took a while but they ended up reprogramming my phone and that did the trick. Thanks a lot!

I just wanted to mention that installing the IOTA cab fixed my connection problem. I've just reactivated my Mogul manually on MySprint and I skipped customization on the 3.35 ROM. Thanks for the good info.
