slingbox and new rom
 

hey guys, are there anyone out there that's having problem with slingbox connecting under the new rom? mine would just keep saying "locating" and eventually said unable to connect to slingbox. on my PCs, I was able to connect just fine, and I have installed both through the phone and the pc installer, but still no go it seems. Also, when I used the wi-fi feature, it was able to connect to the slingbox, so i think it is just under EVDO it's having some problems connecting. does anyone have any insights as to how i can fix this? thanks in advance!

I was able to connect to several slingboxes just fine. Don't know what to tell you, sorry!

speeds are fine. the weird thing is, I had just reinstalled it again with the .cab file, and now it is working. Go figure!! consider the thread closed. sorry to have bothered some of you.....

I was having problems with the slingbox finder service last night but as of this morning it has been fixed. This was not specific to my mogul, it also affected slingplayer on my PC. Perhaps this caused your problem.
