Hacked rom had windows threaded text, official rom doesnt?!

Anyone know how to get the OFFICIAL windows threaded text back? it was so nice and i have searched my butt off

noone has been able to extract it from 6.1. Its hard coded in the rom just like poutlook is hard coded into windows mobile. If u want threaded sms id either find a copy of codyppc's wm6 threaded app or vito's sms chat

upgrade to a custom rom. they include all the updates plus performance tweaks. See the titan upgrades section for more info.

You actually use on demand and music store?

And, not to nitpick, but the official beta rom was WM 6 and did not have threaded SMS. If you had threaded, you must have installed a custom beta rom.

i did have a custom, but the custom did not have on demand and sprint music store, i work for a 3rd party sprint dealer so i have to have them for demo use.

Hmmm.... I've been studying and analyzing your remark and I just don't see how it fits in here! He said he needed the software he didn't say he didn't know how they worked. Am I missing something?

wtf? where exactly did it take it away from, because as far as i'm concerned sprit/htc never released anything with threaded sms. why do you need it for demo use? why would you show it to someone if it's not something that comes with the phone?

alabij: how does it not fit? he says the he needs the "official" windows threaded text back. he should atleast know there is no such thing.

and further more, there is atleast 5 other threads asking for the same windows threaded txt. the problem with people is that they are lazy/stupid and never read what they are doing.

And Another Thing I Was Not Demoing Threaded Text. If You Can Read It Said I Cant Have A Custom Rom(windows Mobile 6.1 With Threaded Text) Becuase I Need On Demand And Sprint Music Store To Demo

no **** sherlock, i just told you you asked for the official threaded text back yet there is no such thing from sprint.

and why are you asking if there is such a way to get 6.1 threaded text on 6.0 when its asked every day and the answer is NO!?

Alright guys...lets keep this on topic and avoid the name calling.

If you want threaded SMS you must either get a WM 6.1 ROM or use a 3rd party solution. Palm's threaded is the best 3rd party solution which was removed from a Treo 750. This is the only phone Palm put their threaded SMS on officially, but it was packaged up by people like hannip over at TC and works on any WM professional device.
