custom 3.35 rom for telus
 

Flash at your own risk..
You will need to install olipro hard spl 2.40, radio 3.35
You might need mdn and msid after you flash , so make sure copy those before you start.
They way i did the upgrade was..
i had olipro 2.40 hard spl alread installed.
then i flashed stock 3.35 sprint rom.
then flashed attached rom and i did not have to enter mdn or msid..

auto update, msn live, enterprise ,entertainment and catalog, sprint telenav, java , sprint music etc removed.

telus settings ( internet connection, error codes, epst etc ) added.

Rest is stock.

some more clean up. Removed cyberon voice dial ( sda deamon process is gone ), removed htc guardian and some other minor stuff removed that i dont remember.

Added: Java, Opera mini with proper shortcut and removed security warnings etc when you launch opera mini. Added Gps launcher for tomtom, Added Pdc Digital clock. Made some registry adjustments to speed up internet explorer. Activated extened rom that install internet explorer scroll fix, google maps and live search.

Your steps made my update go through without a hitch, I had read alot of horror stories on this forum about people updating their moguls and some having bad experiences so i was kinda nervous about flashing, but now p4000 is running much faster than before and has GpS!!

One quick question, does that gpslauncher only work with tom tom? Is it a primer for the gps?

hey. does anyone have this problem. I have done the steps, and I don't have data connections now... here is what I did
P4000:
Unlocked with SPL 2.40
Flash Sprint ROM 3.35
Dial *22803 -> 1 -> 1
Reboot
Dial *22803 -> 1 -> 2 ~ failed
Flash A1ROM
Dial *22803 -> 1 -> 1
Reboot
Am able to send/recieve calls, but no data connection... what to do... When tries to connect, gets error: unknown reason

Already added the right username/password to the #777

you mean stock sprint rom ? or one with telus modifications?

Hey. Actually... I got the TITAN 3.35 RADIO... so it works fine now :)..
I figured it out......
Dial ##DATA# -> Make sure the AU + PPP Username is: <phonenumber>@mb.telusmobility.com; AU + PPP Password is: ESN in DEC...

I love this phone, with WM6, RADIO 3.35 is amazing... only getting 20MB during the day tho.. anyway of making more free?

Anyways, I REPEAT... you DO NOT HAVE TO FLASH SHOCK SPRINT ROM just to get radio 3.35..... If you do want the Radio Update.. I will upload to the ftp server.

here are the steps to follow:
P4000:
Unlocked with SPL 2.40
Flash TITAN Radio 3.35
Flash A1ROM (Love this ROM)
Dial *22803 -> 1 -> 1 (Programming Phone)
Reboot
Dial *22803 -> 1 -> 2 (Update PRL for TELUS)
Dial ##DATA# -> Edit Mode -> enter MDL Code (You can use SPCcode and enter your ESN in HEX (Cap Matter here))
Make sure the AU + PPP Username is: <phonenumber>@mb.telusmobility.com; AU + PPP Password is: ESN in DEC...

NO need to edit the #777 for username/password :)

Please PM me if you want me to write a tutorialfor you all with all the files...
