hELP! I'm stuck in the Loading Screen
I flashed to No2Chem;s 5051, didn't like it and tried to reflash to the original Rom V2.71.
Everything seemed to fiinish fine, and now I'm stuck in the "HTC smart mobility Screen" with the line "test only, not for sale" at the bottom. I've tried hard reset, nothing. I tried to reflash, I can't... HELP!? please |

Re: hELP! I'm stuck in the Loading Screen
here's the problem though, most of these steps requires me to have an active syn up, but right now, active sync won't recognize the device... I got the 2.17 from the FTP here.

Re: hELP! I'm stuck in the Loading Screen
Ok, so I think I might figured out what happened:
I flashed the ROm using the official Sprint 2.7 BUt, I was still on an unlocked SPL from flashing to 5051. Now the problem is, how do i get it to go to a proper loader when it won't even connect to the activesync? |
Re: hELP! I'm stuck in the Loading Screen
Also note: being stuck in the HTC Splash screen, I cant even use exit_bl because it's not reaidn the device as connected (usb connection in activesync are off)

Re: hELP! I'm stuck in the Loading Screen
it may not connect through activesync but the decice drives should be on there just do a search for the relocker use it then try to flash back to the 2.17 rom.

SOLUTION!:::
hold Power-Camera Button, and push soft reset to enter the tricolor boot screen. |

ATTENTION NOOBS WHO CANT READ!!!
Dont flash your phone... period.. There are 30+ posts all saying the same thing... OMG I CANT GET PAST SMART MOBILITY!! OMG BRICKED.. please read instructions before flashing any new roms Now the new roms have to be 1. unlocked 2. have the new radio then you will boot properly. Not taking these steps WILL CAUSE IT NOT TO BOOT </rant> sorry but there are far too many of these posts... |
