Need Help...poss brick due to my stupidity
 

Hey,

I was messing around with my phone and went from stock to 3.16 to custom and back to 2.17 last night. Thought I might try again today, and now my phone is stuck on htc smart mobility with no radio showing. Can't get into the bootloader, and cannot connect with the PC.

Any suggestions or do I need to go buy a new phone?

Holding the power and camera buttons while pressing the stylus into the reset hole will get you into bootloader. Then flash the radio or the official 2.17 package which includes ROM and radio.

I've tried that. It only brings up the HTC screen i think i just got a $700 paper weight

try hard resetting your phone then putting it in bootloader if it doesnt get past the htc screen. also if you ae using activesync try disabling the advanced network settings.it should flash after putting into bootloader.

Tried the hard reset and then the reset into bootloader and still no go.

Any other advice?

are you using activesync or wm device center. if you are using the activesync then try disabling the advanced network connections.

the phone isn't hooked up to the computer at all. I've tried it while hooked up and cannot get a connection. I've tried disabling the activesync usb connection in the wm device center and tried running a sprint rom and says it cant find the phone.

ok then take your memory card and format to fat 32 and extract the .nbh file to the root of the memory card and rename it TITAIMG.nbh then place the memory card in the phone and put it into bootoader.

tried it with the nbh file from the hard spl 2.4 unlocker, couldn't get the file out of the sprint ones. But when I reset the phone, still the same screen.

ok all you have to do is make a new file and name it something that resembles 2.17 and then use winrar to extract the files to that folder and there it will be.and as far as getting it into bootloader jus press the power button the camera button and use the stylus to rest if u hit all of those at the same time then it should be in bootloader.
