you know some people just like to complain. and to most developers that is taking to heart. i just worked out some of the bugs while making an OEM version for the Cooks. (NexVision's request)

Cody,

is there a way to keep this running after I run a memory clearing program like Oxios Hibernate? Everytime that I use it, the operator name reverts to Sprint PCS.

For all those who are customizing their devices... i made this for you. It will change the operators name everywhere on your device. it will surive a softreset. It has an icon called "Personalizer" in the programs menu so you can change it when ever you want.

no more SprintPCS anywhere on your screen. no more verizon wireless either. customize it the way you want.

This will work with the HTC plugin, spb phonesuite, wisbar, pointUI, slide2unlock... just about everything. If you want your Operators name back... just uninstall it from the add/remove programs. should work on most htc devices, and treos.

I agree, I would love to try this program out but ever since I got my Mogul about a month and a half ago I've registered for at least 4 different forums in order to download stuff for it. Would be nice to have all these downloads located at one central source :)

i put it on the site i did because it is a mortscript app and that is a mortscript program. most of the vets here are members of all the forums. there is a lot of good info on all the sites.

when an app is spread out all over the internet it is hard to update it. people will find an old version on one site and never know there is a newer version somewhere else. please dont post it here. it only takes a few seconds to regester. i spent over 12 hours writing it. i think you guys could spend a few minutes registering.

what most people do is use the same username and password. keeps things simple. lol.

I installed 3.0 on No2Chems 5051 ROM. I can't find the icon in the program menu. I've uninstalled it twice and no go.

this hiberanate thing.... is this that Oxios? if so.... it pretty powerful little guy.

yes, i can beef it up a little. someone post that Oxiox app and I'll get to work on it today.

To be honest with ya I was so happy to get a rom building without crashing I forgot all about it. Will try it in a hr or so. For those who installed it with no luck trying running mortscript and see if it appears then.

mortscript is set to auto run. they need to make SURE THEY HAVE THE MORTSCRIPT package in the rom.

in english. personalizer OEM package will not work by itself. you need the mortscript package as well.

i installed this over 30 times within the 12 hours i built it. no problems for me.

if you installed the CAB version you dont have to worry about it. if you installed the OEM Package because you are building a ROM, then you Need the MOrtscript OEM package as well.

which version did you use?

as i said before... i didn't think OXIOS would be a problem. peoples post made me think otherwise so i install Oxios and dont see a problem.

see... even if Oxios closes the app and or mortscript... in the startup folder i have a...

1. read the registry
2. if something is to be wrote... write it.

this sill start up agian evertime the device is wode up. i did this because cometime if you are moving from tower to tower (like when your driving) the system would rewrite this info.

i am not seeing a problem.

i will give today to try and help people with this. if we can't figure out what the hell is going on i am removing the app for ever. i dont even use the F*&%ing thing. it's driving me mad.

are you guys moving part of the oxios to the startup folder?

make sure you install into the main memory as well. not soorage card.

moved back over to No2Chems 5051. Ran the cab and nothing shows up. I don't see Mortscript either. I must be doing something wrong or I have a bad cab. It doesn't even ask me to enter what I want to show on the "wasted space" while running the cab like it did in 2.0. I'll download the cab again and try it.

hey CODY im having the same issue...im running NO2CHEMS 5049 ROM...i downloaded ur personalizer to my main memory (the cab version) i couldnt find it anywhere...shows up in add/remove programs but thats the only place i can find it anywhere...uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times to no avail...any ideas?

Tried it again. I can't find the icon. I don't see Mortscript either. It says that the cab installed fine.

it seems as if it doesn't work with No2Chems ROM's. i am running dcd's roms from his kitchen. works fine.

i dont know what excatly what he does in his rom so i cant fix it. i would say learn how to cook your own roms and use dcd kitchen. they are both based of the same wm6.1 3.16 rom. only real difference is what you put in it.

Hey Cody,

First off I would like to thank you VERY VERY VERY MUCH for anwsering my prayers with this programs. I have been looking for something like this for months, I never saw the earlier version. Slight problem.

I'm running totally bone stock rom's on a XV6800, it removes the top bar thank GOD, but there is nothing in the program folders. I have installed the CAB file on the main memory and it says sucessful install, but nothing in the program folder

3.0 cab version = bad...

i had no idea it was so bad. i have moved the app to ppcgeeks so it should be easier to download and support.

please install version 3.1 ASAP if you use the app at all.
