Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

Thats your problem, you need spl 2.40 for any radio of 3.27 or higher. Load in that Unlocker, hard reset and things should come right.

Trick to load this SPL in is to
Hard reset your phone
Boot to the Wellcome screen BUT do not tap your screen
At this stage plug in your phone into your PC and apply the SPL unlocker.

I'm on line for another 30 minutes if you need help.

2 Attachment(s)
here is the unlocker

You might need Mutty so I have added that (incase you get stuck in the bootloader)

to get out of the bootloader
run up mutty
select connection of USB
type command, followed by the enter key
SET 16 0

Remember before using mutty to disconnect the USB connection in the ActiveSync options so it has full control of the USB

Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

If you hard reset your phone, normally they are stable up to the point of the wellcome screen, is that not the case with yours.

Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

Hard reset by holding down both soft keys while resetting.

johnw230873 03-04-2008 11:19 AM

Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

yep by pressing the 2 dot keys (above the send and end buttons) and pressing the reset key at the same time.

Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

Unplug USB cord
go into Activesync on PC and select Connetion Options
make sure Allow USB Connections is unchecked
Plug cord back in
Phone should show the word USB
Run mutty again and select USB

Great to hear

Personally I have found VetVito's Aero Rom the best for me but there are heeps out there. Just remember to check your MSID MSD and PRL if your phone can't make calls etc after the upgrade.

Lots of posts out there for that

If it's rebooting, you probably didn't load the 2.4 unlocker. What version shows when you are in the bootloader screen?

Either follow the directions above, or load an older ROM like 2.17 then load the 2.4 bootloader.

Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

im in bootloader now and it says 2.40

Geckotek 03-04-2008 02:04 PM

Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

Now go reload one of the latest ROMs and the 3.27 radio.

Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

when i unplug it, it goes back to SPL 1.20

and when i dont unplug it and SPL 2.40 is loaded...then next step is to load a ROM...but i cant because a connection is needed yet im still in bootloader mode

Geckotek 03-04-2008 02:10 PM

Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

No connection to ActiveSync is needed to load a ROM.

However, it seems like your bootloader is jacked if it shows both 1.2 and 2.4.

Try a hard reset and see if you can get to the welcome screen. If you can, don't proceed any further. From there you should be able to get an AS connection and reload the 2.4 bootloader.

If that does't work, look back through the steps johnw suggested and try them.

Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

step 2 of RUU states establish an activesync connection with your PDA phone, but im not able to do so because im in bootloader

after i load 2.4, thats what comes up on my screen

but if i hard reset or soft reset then 1.2 is shown

uuughhh this is frusturating

Re: Titan Rebooting And Rebooting

Ignore that statement in step 2, it is incorrect.
