Official ROM vs. modified (Stability)
Ok, so I have 4 more days to return this phone...
I decided not to modify it yet because of the warranty incase it craps out on me early. I've had to reset it so many times, as well as hard reset it multiple times to get the firmware reloaded right. Then I had to deal with Verizon and their A-Key mystery. (No, the phone is NOT modded) My question to you is how stable is this phone when modded? is it any better? Worse? Like some other people who posted here, I wonder if I should go back to my XV6700? I like the size and weight of the phone when compared to the xv6700, but I may return it if there's no hope for this phone (Which I am hoping you tell me otherwise) Thank you for your time! |
Re: Official ROM vs. modified (Stability)
i cant speak for verizon products i have sprint... but as for the modded vs official roms.... i've been doing this for years and no2chem's Nuerom v2 (build 5049) is the fastest most stable rom i've ever flashed. EVER.

Re: Official ROM vs. modified (Stability)
Features and aesthetics wise, the 6800 pwns the ancient 6700 in every way. There's no way I'd downgrade from my Mogul to the old Apache.
