Registry change tracker?
Anyone found anything that will make a log file of the registry keys that were changed when I make a change to anything in my 6800? ie: like changing the text size, changing the battery display from percent analog to percent memory.... small changed so that I can put them in the ROM and won't have to continually make the changes when I make a new ROm.... any help would be appreciated....

Re: Registry change tracker?
There is an app called RegLogger. However it is much more complex than probably what you want. It logs anytime the registry is accessed which is quite a bit.
The best way to do what you want is to use OEMizer to set everything that you can. You can also use the compare method. To do this, you need to dump the full registry with a registry app. Then make all the changes you want. Then dump the registry again. Now, use an app like CompareIt or Windiff to compare the two dumps. This should provide you with the registry keys that have been changed. You can now create an rgu for your own personal OEM or create a cab if you are not building a rom. |

sweet - Colonel - Thanks for the info.... BTW - that is one sweet *** boot up gif.... that lightening rocks..... :)
PS - I thought about the compare the registry thing, but didn't know there were programs that would go thru them and give me the differences.... I thought I would have to do that myself and that would take forever... ;P Edit: Compareit freakin rocks..... Thanks again colonel |
