Stuck at alltel screen after upgrade.... HELP
 

hey all well i took the plunge and tryed my hand at upgrading my 6800. Got through the Hard spl and raido upgrade but now im stuck at the alltel screen after reboot and it wont move. Any help?

Did you use the right unlocker, also versions of radio and rom will help debug the problem. Don't worry to much as you can always put you stock ram back onto your phone from you SD card (as long as you have it)

Just as an update ihave tryed to flash via SD card back to stock alltel rom and 3.16 no luck either way just sits at alltel screen..

the 3.27 radio needs to run on a rom higher than 2.0.0. What is the ROM version you have ? Hard-SPL-MFG.exe is the right unlocker for this radio but it wont be for your normal ROM, you need to reloack the device.

OK. I'm a noob (go figure). Same issue, QWest is the provider. Unlocked phone w/ Hard-SPL-MFG (Olipro-2.40) and proceeded with ROM nueROM v2.0 build 5049. All the updates took and rebooted the device. Shows HTC display screen and then shows QWest and just sits there. Device isn't recognized by WMDC (Vista) in this state. Info from HTC screen displays as:

B 03
P ACAAAAM-4070
R 1.39.00
D 3.16

How do I go about clearing this state of confusion? Is there a way to force the unit back to waiting for a new ROM image manually? Thanks!

Belay my last - I got it unstuck. Found the proper 3.27 radio ROM and was able to get it loaded followed by a few different ROMs (checking out featuresets). Now, I just need to test for stability then move my primary service over. Thanks!

OS how were you able to get the rom loaded after it was stuck, i have tryed the SD card trick to no luck?

What everyone seems to be missing is that you have to update the bootloader, the OS, and the radio ROMs to compatible levels.

Shellguy, it sounds like you skipped over loading the OS. If you are able to get to the 3 color bootloader screen, I would try loading a v2.0+ OS ROM such as no2chem's NueROM.

While holding down power and camera buttons, press the reset button. This should put you back in bootloader mode and allow you to load the OS ROM.
