you need a stock bootloader and just in case get your msid your msl and esn. you can call sprint and easily get this info. jus say you flashed to the 2.17 rom and had complications. i am going to beup for awhile so i will be happy to help you with a step by step.also on your pocket pc info it says you have a treo you might wanna change that as not to confuse ppl reading.quick question though is your phone up to date with the 2.17 and is your personel info backed up to your computer.

Well, I have 2 units.. just flashed one this morning (my brother's) using his WinXp laptop...

MY unit, should arrive tommorrow via UPS... and since I dont have the WinXP laptop handy, I must use my Vista desktop.. hopefully it should be the same process as Win XP

Re: Can I upgrade running Vista?

it is just refer to the site where you got the rom from and the easy upgrading guide in the forum and you should be fine if you have already upgraded one then you can upgrade another.

Re: Can I upgrade running Vista?

I am running Vista and spent hours back when the 3.16 rom came out figuring out why it wouldnt start the upgrade process.. finally i 'upgraded' some device center driver to some activesync 4.5 driver and that fixed it. Stock vista has known issues but are workaroundable. XP has none.
