Horrible Data Speeds W/dcd 2.3.1 & 60711 prl omg
 

i just updated to it today from dcd's 2.1.2 with the 60611 prl that had speeds in excess of 1mb/s+ when tethered to my laptop. now that I updated to 2.3.1, the speed are now less than 200kb/s. anyone know what to do to fix this?

Hmmm...
I'm using wmodem with my phone tethered to my laptop and I'm getting around 2mbps down and around 600kbps up.

I'm using DCD's 2.3.1 ROM and PRL 60711..

Revert back to the old PRL. I have it on my phone and will upload it once I get if someone doesn't beat me to it or post the link to the download!

The link for the PRL files is:

Download the 60611 prl file. Move to your device. Open dialer and type ##prl# and browse for the PRL file. Choose okay from the menu and the phone should update and restart.

NOTE - you'll need your MSL number to get into the menu

I just switched over to WMWifiRouter to test and I'm still getting the same speeds. Not too sure what's going on. Maybe retry flashing the radio?

ok, i flashed my own cooked rom from dcd's kitchen. do u have his regular rom or ur own cooked one?

I'm using a cooked rom from his kitchen, but his regular roms are still made using the same files from the kitchen. I just added OEMs. So basically there shouldn't be any difference really.
