ROM updates issues sticking in loops no signal
 

I ran into several issues updating ROM looking to have some light shed on this. I ran the following updates.
Hard-SPL ttn240mfg
Titan Radio ROM 3.27.00
First up running dcd_titan_2.3.1_alltel ROM

Device flashed into OS all is ok including signal except no phone calls. I went into the ESN config adding the information for the MDN, MIN, MSID, SSID, NID and then wireless internet connect. Press ok device saves information then reboots. Device is now stuck in infinite loop.

I reflash Titan Radio ROM 3.27.00 enter the ESN area to reconfigure all sections are still correctly configured. Cancel out. Try to call and everything works. OK cool lets go try out the WM6.1 vista ROM from PoorlyDuck. Check config everything is ok except nothing in internet configs. Device says you need active sync 4.5 but thats what I have. Make adjustments reset. No changes double check triple check press OK changes saved "didn't make any though" device resets device is stuck in infinite loop again. Reflash radio try this again device still stuck in infinite loop.

Reflash to DCD's ROM device continues to act the same as in poorlyDucks. ROM installs ok but I have no signal now. Go to configs do everything reboot no signal device in infinite loop. Try reflashing Radio no changes.

ReLock device load HTC WM6.0 OEM ROM now have signal but cant make calls. Use *228 reactivate phone recall update PRL reboot. Update internet configuration. Everything works as normal again.

Whats the deal with the hacked ROMs not working?
